Global Vigil

On April 21st, 2021, more than a thousand people from thirty-three countries across four continents came together to honor the life of Jeyasre Kathiravel and pay tribute to her efforts as a labor organizer fighting to make sure gender-based violence is made extinct in Natchi Apparels.

Global labor, women, and Dalit rights leaders extended solidarity to Natchi Apparel workers and Jeyasre’s family, pledging support to their fight for justice and affirming the power of women workers who organize against gender-based violence and harassment.
